Xi'an

After a couple of more days in Beijing, we took off on a night train to Xi'an - an ancient city in the Shaanxi province. The journey was 12 hours, which Shawn spent with the locals in the seating area, while i was comfortably lying down on my own berth. We arrived on the train station in Xi'an on Sunday morning, where we were picked up by the hostel - very convenient. The same day, I walked around half the city (see pics below) on the ancient wall that has a circumference of 14km - pretty long if you ask me.



Nach ein paar weiteren tagen in Peking ging es dann endlich per nachtzug nach Xi'an, eine historische stadt in der Shaanxi provinz. The reise im zug dauerte 12 stunden, welche Shawn im sitzbereich verbrachte, waehrend ich ein paar Euros mehr bezahlte um auf meinem bett zu liegen. Wir erreichten den bahnhof von Xi'an am sonntag morgen, von wo wir von unserem hostel abgeholt wurden - sehr praktisch. Am selben tag noch wanderte ich (siehe bilder oben) auf der mauer entland, die mit einem umkreis von 14 km einen grossen teil der stadt einschliesst.
