'Sayonara' Japan

My time in Japan has finally come to an end ... I am leaving on 29th November.... heading for Australia. YES ... I am back on the road ... backpacking [how excited I am!]

Here a little recap about Japan ... my impressions ... my thoughts :

When I first arrived on Japanese soil, I was overwhelmed with what I saw. The culture-shock latest a while. It was fascinating to see such efficiency and perfectionism all over the place (even the Germans can't top that),



how traditional values meet high tech and glamor ...



how many people fit in one place at the time, how they are being squeezed into trains



Later on, this became normality, though I still have problems with crowded places. What I came to love is the beautiful Japanese countryside [best observed on a bicycle - see post below]



... I think I might be missing a few things once I am gone (actually I am pretty sure about it).
